par-tea!

If it’s Friday, you know what that means… it’s time to party! Wahoo! This is the second year that I’ve participated in the Ultimate Blog Party hosted by 5 Minutes for Mom, and this year I’m also sponsoring one of the door prizes — a great knitting-themed gift basket. I also will be hosting my own giveaway right here, but you’ll have to check back on Monday to find out what it is because I haven’t quite finished it yet. (Oops!)

Allow me to quickly introduce myself :-) My name is Carol and I’ve been blogging here since September 2000. Yes, 11 years. Back then I wasn’t sure I’d even make it through one! I’m married to my best friend and we have three adorable, but crazy kids. Jake is 8, Noah is 5, and Laura will soon be two. Being a mom takes up most of my time, but I also manage to do a little freelance writing and editing. I’m an avid crafter (yes, I knit that cupcake), and I particularly love making boutique hair bows. Above all I’d consider myself a crocheter. It’s what I always fall back on. I love to cook, and I think that’s obvious as many of my posts are food-related.

If you’re visiting here for the first time, I invite you to connect with me.

I have a lot of great posts planned for the coming week, including recipes and tutorials that you don’t want to miss. Come again soon!

Oh, and don’t forget to leave a comment and let me know you stopped by. I promise I’ll visit you, too!
