Pretty. And Ugly

First, let's get the ugly out of the way first. The clutch I knit from One Skein. Let's face it: this pattern is not meant for variagated yarn. I was just really eager to try knitting with the Noro Kureyon I had. (And honestly, it was a little rough on my hands; I can't imagine wearing something made with it.) I doubled that up with some Patons merino wool. I'm going to felt it again and see if that helps this sad, sad bag any.

Now the pretty. My first ballband dishcloth. I am really embarrassed about how long it took me to figure out the pattern. My first attempt I read all the YFs to mean YOs. (In my defense, a few months ago I used a feather and fan pattern that read YF and actually was meant to be read as a yarn over. So yeah... I ended up with about eleventybazillion stitches on my needle. Once I figured it out I really felt foolish because it's so darn easy! So yeah, now I've made one too just like everyone else and darn it I plan to make more because it's a great pattern for a dishcloth and will be nice in a set with a couple other designs.
